Pricing method explanation
The pricing method set in OfficialsHQ determines how the pricing is shown to the school in the booking system.
Pricing method | How this shows to the school in BookingHQ | Use when…. |
Variable base |
As a cost range ie FROM $x TO $x. These values adjusts as the package variables of student count and sessions are changed (in the booking) |
For coach delivered bookings where there is some variability in the cost of delivery. This is where there is some variability in the delivery of the booking to the school. eg there is variety in the cost of coaches or differences in travel which change costs |
Fixed base | As a single cost that adjusts as the package variables of student count and sessions are changed (in the booking) |
For coach delivered bookings where there is no variability in the cost of delivery This is where you are confident that package delivery will be consistent irrespective of variables such as school location, cost to supply coaches etc |
Fixed price | As a single cost which does not change | It’s teacher delivered package or a coach delivered package where the booking variables will not change the booking cost |
Free | Free | The package is free, eg NSOs offer a teacher delivered package free of charge |
Price on application | POA |
NSOs are unsure of the estimated package cost. There is a highly variable range of delivery cost due to eg provider delivery, geo differences etc |
