Who can create a package
Only NSO admins can create a package
Creating a package
- Access OfficialsHQ
- Go to Configuration -> Schools courses -> Packages (or here)
- Select the + button
- Enter the package information and select the Save button

Name | This is the package name that will display to the school | |
Plain text description | This is the description of the package that will display to the school if the Formatted description field is blank | |
Formatted description | This is the description of the package that will display to the school and provides an enriched text experience (paragraphs, bullets, bolding etc) | |

Grant types |
These are the grant types the package is applicable for. BookingHQ will automatically filter packages by the grant type the school has been awarded. You can select one or more options |

Year levels |
These are the school year(s) your package delivery will support. Please be careful to align year levels with the Grant Types you selected You can select one or more options |

Remoteness |
These are the locations you will support delivery to. This helps sports hide packages to schools located in areas where a program cannot be run. Eg you cannot get coaches in that location Metro, Regional, Remote School remoteness is taken from the ACARA school dataset and corresponds the ABS remoteness area name, available here. Where: Remote and Very remote = Remote Inner Regional and Outer Regional = Regional Major Cities = Metro |

Recommended session count |
This will show against the package as the recommended session count. This value is not used in the calculation of the package costs. For teacher delivered bookings, always set = 4 For coach delivered bookings, set per your recommended amount Example, a sport may offer a minimum of 4 sessions but recommends 5 sessions for the optimum experience This value should not be less than 4 unless your sport has permission from the ASC |

Adding the state(s) the package is eligible for
- Go to Configuration -> Schools courses -> Packages (or here)
- Select the package row
- Select the State allocations button
- You can either:
- Select a state incrementally using the green + next to the state name
- Select all states using the 'Add all available states' button
Adding the package image
For information on the image parameters, please see here Package + Add on image tile
- Go to Configuration -> Schools courses -> Packages (or here)
- Select the package row
- Select the Image button
- Select the pen icon
- Select an image
- Select Save
View the package as a school would see it
Go to the package management screen (Configuration -> School courses -> Packages).
Select a package in the list, then select the magnifying glass icon.
This will load a browser tab with a static image of the package.
Making the package active
The package is set to active by default, in the package config screen.
