Who can create an Add-on
Only NSO admins can create an Add-on
Creating an Add-on
- Access OfficialsHQ
- Go to Configuration -> Schools courses-> Add-ons (or here)
- Select the + button
- Enter the Add-on information and select the Save button
Field name | Purpose/info | Example entry |
Sequence number | This is the order the Add-on show on the Add-on summary screen. #1 at the top of screen | 1 |
Plain text description | This is the description of the Add-on that will display to the school if the Formatted description field is blank | |
Formatted description | This is the description of the Add on that will display to the school and provides an enriched text experience (paragraphs, bullets, bolding etc) | |
Sport | This will default to your sport name | Basketball |
Delivery type | This determines if the package is Teacher or Coach delivered | Coach |
Grant types |
These are the grant types the Add-on is applicable for. BookingHQ will automatically filter packages by the grant type the school has been awarded. You can select one or more options |

Maximum quantity | This is the maximum amount a school can order on a booking | 10 |

External = where the school will be presented with a URL for your external equipment provider
Internal = where the school can make an order for Add-ons within the booking system (For you to access as a report - this is not an e-commerce purchase) |

Adding the Add-on image
For information on the image parameters, please see here Package + Add on image tile
- Go to Configuration -> Schools courses -> Add-on (or here)
- Select the Add-on
- Select the Image button
- Select the pen icon
- Select an image
- Select Save
View the Add on as a school would see it
Go to the package management screen (Configuration -> School courses -> Add-ons).
Select an Add o in the list, then select the magnifying glass icon.
This will load a browser tab with a static image of the Add on.
Making the Add-on active
The Add-on is set to active by default, in the Add-on config screen.
