Schools often want to understand how much of their grant funding remains available after making bookings or incurring program expenses.
Can I view my remaining grant balance?
Your Sporting Schools grant is provided to support the delivery of approved Sporting Schools programs and related eligible expenses. Once your grant has been paid, your school is responsible for managing expenditure against the funding received.
How do I work out how much funding I have left?
To estimate your remaining funding, compare:
- The grant funding paid to your school
- The costs of any Sporting Schools bookings you have made
- Any other eligible program expenses incurred using the grant funding
Are booking costs automatically deducted from my grant?
No, schools should ensure they maintain their own records of program costs and expenditure throughout the delivery period.
What happens at acquittal?
At acquittal, schools are required to report how their Sporting Schools funding was spent. Any remaining grant amount, after approved expenses have been assessed, may be considered a residual amount and may need to be returned.
I am unsure how much funding remains
If you are unable to determine how much funding remains available for your school, contact the Sporting Schools Program Operations Centre for assistance.
