This article is for providers who are also coaches to create a Coach & Provider account for Sporting Schools in the OfficialsHQ system.

Creating a Coach & Provider account
- Go to OfficialsHQ registration
- In the question 'I want to register as', select 'Coach & Provider'
- Complete the remaining questions in the form and select the 'Next' button
- Enter the address and business telephone for your provider organisation. This is not your personal address.
- Select the 'Next' button
- You will be presented with the information you have entered, pleaser review the information you have entered is correct. Use the 'Previous' option to adjust any information.
- If you are happy with the information you've provided, click the 'Submit' button
- You should now receive an activation email into the email address you specified on your registration
I did NOT receive my activation email:
- Check your spam box
- Contact the Sporting Schools team on 1300 785 707 or lodge a request here
I did receive my activation email:
- Click on the 'Activate' button on the email
- You should now be taken to https://home.officialshq.com/ to complete your provider registration
Registration process
- If you have clicked the Activate button in your activation email, you should now be at https://home.officialshq.com/
- Enter the email address you used for your account setup, this is the email inbox you received the activation email in
- Enter the password you created in the account activation

You should now by logged into https://home.officialshq.com/ and looking at a set of provider terms and conditions.
- Accept the terms and conditions, if you are comfortable
- You should now see the Provider tab in the registration
- Enter your organisation type
- Enter all the state(s) in which you operate
- If you have an ABN number, enter your ABN, otherwise select the ABN exempt checkbox
- If you support children with disability, select the inclusion checkbox and provide a brief description of the disability support your coaches provide
- Select the Next button
You should now see the Address section of the registration form:
- Review/adjust your address details as required. Remember: this is your organisation's address (if different from yours)
- Select the Next button
You should now see the Sport requests section of the registration form:
- Select the sport you provide coaches for
- If you are approved by the national sporting organisation to deliver the national product then select the checkbox {enter link to what this means}
- Select the Add button, this will add the sport to the Sport list below
To remove a sport from the list:
- Select the red ‘x’ next to the sport name
Through the next two steps, you will be asked to select the organisation(s) you work for. You can select as many sports and organisations you want to connect to. These organisations are the ones that you work for/will be allocating bookings to you.
An organisation can be a:
- A national sporting organisation (NSO) e.g. Gymnastics Australia
- A state sporting organisation (SSO) e.g. Golf Queensland
- A provider organisation e.g. private provider, sports club
IMPORTANT: this includes the organisation you have just created in Step 1 of the Coach & Provider registration process
On the National/State Organisations (NSO/SSOs) tab:
- If you work directly for a national or state sporting organisation (NSO or SSO):
- select the sport you work for
- select the name of the organisation (NSO or SSO) you work for
- select the Add button
- If you cannot find the sporting body, please contact your national or state organisation you work for. These organisations control the organisations shown on this selection list.
- once you have added all sports/sporting bodies, select the Next button
- If you DO NOT work for a national or state sporting organisation (NSO or SSO) then select the Next button.
You should now be on the Organisations (provider) tab:
- To select your provider organisation:
- select the sport you deliver
- select the name of your provider
- select the Add button
- If you cannot find your organisation, please read this I can't find my organisation (Coach registration)
- you can add more than one sport/provider
- once you have added all sports/organisations, select the Next button
IMPORTANT: You must select your provider and add it to the list so that you appear as a coach when managing your bookings.
You should now be on the Working with children (WWCC) tab.
You can add one or more Working with children checks in your registration.
- Select the state where you have the WWCC or WWCC exemption
- Select the WWCC or WWCC exemption you hold
- Enter your WWCC number or Police/Teacher ID number
- Enter the expiry date of your WWCC
- Upload your WWCC or WWCC exemption evidence, if asked
- Select the Add button
- Select the Complete button
Your registration will now be complete.
What happens next
Provider Registration
Your provider information will be reviewed by the following organisations:
| Organisation | When a review is needed |
| Sporting Schools (Australian Sports Commission (ASC)) | All providers are reviewed by the ASC, irrespective of there sport connection(s) |
| National sporting organisation | If you selected that you are approved by the national sporting organisation to deliver the national program |
| National sporting organisation | If there is a requirement for the sport to approve a safety assessment |
How do I know the status of my registration? Please lodge a request here and this information can be supplied to you.
When you are fully approved, you will be displayed to schools are open to receive bookings for your nominated sports.
When a school makes a booking, the booking will show in Officials HQ under School Bookings -> Booking management
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Your WWCC information will be checked and validated by the Sporting Schools team
- Your selected organisations will review your request
